Wow, it’s been ages since I last update. I guess I’ve been busy or just plain lazy.
Let me go back to some of the important dates. :)

Merry Christmas! My cousin from Penang visited for 5 days. This time it was a pure shopping trip. In June we have gone to many attractions so this time there wasn’t anything new or interesting to go to. Anyway, shopping was real fun, and real scary. We have all gone mad, all 3 of us (cousin, sister and myself). We spent quite a sum of money: CNY clothes, office wear; I got myself a new wallet finally, and skin care products. I would say we really went all out. I have been too busy working the past 3 months and haven’t shopped much. It was like a reward for myself, heh.
It was a good shopping. My purchases are 70% worth it. Ok, 80%. Actually there wasn’t anything that I regret buying yet. Oh, except for that $8-spaghetti-strap which turned out to be too small. But I can give it to my sister.
Overall it was fun, Fun, FUN! Until I calculated how much I spent in that 5 days. Haha.. but still fun.

Happy New Year! May the new year brings all of us great health, great wealth, great successes, and happiness everyday.
I spent the 1st day of 2009 spring cleaning my clothes cabinet. You see, we were going to sell our clothes at a second hand bazaar at Tanglin Mall on 3rd Jan. There were 3 of us: my sister, Siti and myself. We managed to sell most of our clothes and accessories and made some money. Not a lot, but ok, it covered all the expenses incurred that day and I got rid of the clothes which otherwise would have to be sold off to Karang Guni. A tiring but satisfying day. My body was aching for the next 2 days after all that squatting and re-folding of clothes.

Dinner with Design 1 groupmates. It was good catching up with everyone. I cried a bit upon news of our late Prof Krishna’s death. It was too shocking, and the way he died (he died while working in his office) is too touching. He was, in my mind, a very dedicated Prof who cared for his students.

Karaoke with Siti and Yanti. Our next karaoke session would have to be at least 2 years from now. We were all able to hold our tears somehow.

Gong Xi Fa Cai! Siti and Yanti visited, while I was packing halfway for my trip the next day. This time too I managed to hold my tear until they left my house. This CNY my sister and i decided to visit our grandparents in Medan. So I have to miss Siti's flight to London on the 31st.
Our grandparents were very happy to see us. And we managed to catch up with some old friends. Seems like we'll do this more often. But see how.
