Me : No
My sis : Do you?
Jordan : I don't believe in Santa Claus. There's no chimney in the houses now also.
Me : Modern Santa don't need chimneys
Jordan : Ya lah
Me : No, no. Modern Santa don't give presents. They ask for donation.
Jordan : (laughs) and then they give you a hug and ring a bell for you.
My sis : True true

Went shopping with yan and baya yesterday. But I didn't buy anything. Too last minute lah. Baya told me about it only on Sunday. Then I haven't got my shopping list ready.
Seems like I can't stay in hall next semester. Not enough money and I can't find jobs now. I don't know how to find also. And I don't think I'll have time to work. My aunt will be here for another one or two weeks, by then I'll only have two weeks of holidays left.
And I'm still undecided about joining dance. This one I'm interested in hold its weekly practices on Sunday. Who want to travel to school on days more than the necessary ones hah? And the senior actually told me to think if "the travel time is worth it". What are you talking about? Of course it's not. If it's saturday at least the school library is open and I can do some quiet study or use the facilities the school offers. But almost everything is closed on Sunday, including the canteen.
I think I better consider about joining some other dances.

Sunday, December 12, 2004What have I been doing this one whole week? Nothing.. Sigh, ok not exactly nothing.
My aunt is here for a medical check-up as well as visiting. It's her first time in Singapore so my sister and I bring her to places. But so far we've only been shopping and window-shopping. Haven't been to attractions like Sentosa, etc etc. Well if you ask me, being tour guides are tiring. It's different when you're shopping for yourselves, you are excited, you get to try clothes and see the things only you want to see.
But now I can't do that. I have to show my aunt the things she would like to see, pause to look at stuffs she wants to look. Alright alright, I'm not complaining. It's just tiring.. and unexciting. I'd rather go someone's house and play monopoly the whole day. Ok ok, not the whole day. Or I'd rather do stuffs I want to do like playing freecell the whole afternoon. No matter how boring it sounds but it's my own thing.
I sound so ungrateful huh.. that's my auntie!! Bad bad me..

Friday, December 03, 2004This is it. It's holidays! But I got limited amount of money to spend cos must save for hall accomodation. Hmm.. gotta look for free entertainment then.
Hah, baked chocolate chip cookies yesterday with my new big oven. The first try was a bit burnt, then the rest of it are just so delicious.. hehe..
Ok, my list of things to do this holidays include: cycling, suntanning, swimming and I also want to look for a job. Anyone got lobang?
