It's exactly three weeks to my first paper. Yes, my Physics paper will be on Saturday, can you believe that? Anyway, what am I doing here..!! should be mugging now, ops..
Some good news, finally all my major essay assignments have been handed in. Since the beginning of this semester I have done one 800-words critique, two 1500-words history essay, one 1700-words group position paper, and one 500-words biology book review. Total words: 6000. That's about the number of words for 12 normal GP essays in jc. And I don't think I have done more than 10 GP essays in my entire jc life.
No more lab sessions for this semester. And I'm currently enjoying a 3-day weeks. It's a 2-day week for week 13 with public holiday on deepavali. But there're only two weeks more to go. Haiz, just when I'm enjoying.. haha..
Ok, I'm seriously considering staying in hall. It will cost $240 a month for the cheapest kind and I'm not paying more. There'll be no hall activities cos PGP got no hall. And I think I'll have to pay for it on my own. My father will not allow if he has to pay, my mother will not allow even if she gets paid. I can save on travelling time and probably transport, and I definitely will get to sleep more. The disadvantages: eating out everyday which is bad for health, gotta do laundry on my own which will take up my time as well. What do you think? give me some opinions...

Monday, October 18, 2004I'm suffering from cough. Have this dry feeling in my throat since last Thursday but I ignored it. Though I try not to eat very heaty stuffs, sometimes can't help it also. I mean, it's quite troublesome to ask other people to cook porridge for me. And other food do look so much more delicious.. (yummy). Oh well, that's why I'm suffering now. I bought a box of chocolate as a birthday indulgence for myself but I can't eat it.
Cough cough go away, along with other diseases and don't ever come back again.

Wednesday, October 13, 2004Oh, how I hate writing essays - position paper in particular. Essays in general should not have deadline, it just kills the creativity. But position paper doesn't require any creativity lah. It's all rules and rules.. "claim must always be accompanied by premises, bla bla bla.."
A few more weeks and I'll be done with this position paper thing. I can't wait.

Help me!! there's this strong urge in me to snack whenever I'm doing work. Distracting.. and also not good.. argh.. I can't concentrate..
On the bright side:
I've started on my own savings program as of last Monday. Let's see how it'll work out. :)
Be patient with the photo.. I'm currently too lazy to upload my photos to my PC. I can't upload it to my laptop cause there's no port for the cable. Although the PC is just outside my room, less than 3 m away. I'm so lazy.. Kick me anyone!! (Ok, I'm joking)

Thursday, October 07, 2004My new glasses is still too tight even after I asked them to adjust. And it doesn't sit very well on my nose, like the right lens is nearer to the right eye than the left lens is to the left eye.. such that my eyelashes will touch the lens and it makes my eye irritated. Hmm.. what's wrong with my face?
Anyway, I'm going to Alicia Keys' concert! Got free tix from Perfect Ten. Sit right at the back though, but it's free.. hoho..
